Chathura R. De Silva received the BSc Engineering degree from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in 1996, the MEng degree from Nanyang Technological University in 1999 and the Ph.D. degree from National University of Singapore in 2005. At present he is a professor with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Moratuwa. He has extensive experience in multiple national and International level IT development projects. His research interests are in Internet of Things and microcontroller applications, process automation, computer vision and image processing.
