The Future of Computing: AI, Quantum, and Beyond

7th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ADVANCEMENTS IN COMPUTING

 

The International Conference on Advancements in Computing (ICAC) is organized by the Faculty of Computing of the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) as an open forum for academics along with industry professionals to present the latest findings and research output and practical deployments in computing. All six ICAC conferences held from 2019 to 2024 were successfully conducted with technical co-sponsorship by IEEE Sri Lanka. 

The primary objective of ICAC is to promote innovative research that addresses real-world challenges and contributes to the social well-being of communities. The conference provides a dynamic platform for researchers from around the world to present groundbreaking findings, exchange ideas, and establish meaningful collaborations. ICAC 2025, themed The Future of Computing: AI, Quantum, and Beyond, will explore the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, and other emerging technologies in shaping the future of computing and advancing solutions to pressing societal issues.

As part of this initiative, ICAC 2025 will feature pre-conference workshops designed to provide hands-on experience with the latest findings in computing while facilitating the dissemination of cutting-edge knowledge.

Objectives

Create a platform for networking and collaborative research and development activities among national and international researchers.

Promote advanced research culture among academic and cooperate communities around the globe.

Highlight the achievements of local and international researchers in the field of computing.

Foster groundbreaking innovations in computing by integrating Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, and emerging technologies to solve complex challenges, drive cross-disciplinary advancements, and shape the future of industries worldwide.
